Although we have clients all over the country, Blue Prairie Group started in the midwest and our roots run deep. Our name was inspired by the great American prairie – a vibrant grassland that once stretched through the middle of the country from Texas to Canada.
The prairie is a place of wide open skies, blue as far as the eye can see. The grasses and flowers of the prairie form a complex and tenacious ecosystem — deeply rooted and highly adaptive.
Hawks soar overhead. And prairie dogs, with their sophisticated language, stand guard to alert their communities of danger.
Our mascot, Yip-Yip, the prairie dog, has a natural instinct to protect. His hard-working, tireless nature inspired our motto — aware, alert and always on the lookout.
