Our business model
We act as fiduciaries to all of our clients’ portfolios in all 3 of our core practice areas–ERISA Retirement, Foundations & Endowments and Wealth Management– and are remunerated solely by our clients. We have no formal or informal relationships with any marketing firms, third-party administrators or record keepers. In other words, no behind-the-scene arrangements that can lead to conflicts of interest.
Our investment infrastructure
We create and manage customized discretionary and non-discretionary investment portfolios for our clients. Our extensive investment infrastructure includes our chief investment officer (CIO), an Internal Investment Committee (IIC), our Asset Allocation Forum (AAF), and the BPG Investment Analytics Group (IAG).

Blue Prairie Group provides both discretionary asset management (DAM) as well as non-discretionary asset management (NDAM) services for both individual and institutional clients with consulting services in three core practice areas: ERISA retirement; foundations and endowments; and wealth management.

We use an enterprise-wide CRM system that tracks project workflow across the firm and we produce custom annual client business plans and surveys.
Experienced portfolio managers
Our portfolio manager – Gary Silverman, CFA – has over 15 years of experience designing, managing, and running fixed income and equity portfolios for all types of institutions and individual clients. At Blue Prairie Group, we use low cost, third-party money managers to build and maintain dynamic portfolios over time. He is backed up by dedicated investment analysts who are extensively trained on conducting manager due diligence. Blue Prairie Group is a sub-advisor to the collective investment trust target date funds called SMART funds.
