Chris Cannova has over 15 years of human resources experience and
is a Consultant in the firm’s Human Resources and Institutional
Retirement practices. He recently joined Blue Prairie, bringing
significant depth of experience in human resources, specifically, in
the areas of retirement plan and health and welfare plan design and
administration, compensation and effective management of HRIS.
Prior to joining Blue Prairie Group, Chris was with the Archdiocese
of Chicago where he provided project team leadership in the
implementation of major changes to the retirement plans. He also
oversaw the standardization of the payroll system in use at more
than 450 separate parishes and schools. Additional affiliations have
included human resource leadership positions at Little City
Foundation, Motorola, and Salomon Smith Barney.
Chris has experience serving on the board of directors with social
service organizations in his community and at professional
associations. He holds the CEBS designation (Certified Employee
Benefit Specialist) granted by the International Foundation of
Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of Business at the
University of Pennsylvania. Chris has a Masters in Labor and
Industrial Relations and a Bachelor of Science from the University
of Illinois.
