Matt is one of the nation’s most respected retirement plan consultants, having worked with hundreds of corporate, not-for-profit and government clients throughout the country. He is the founder of Blue Prairie Group, a full service human resource and investment consulting firm and the author of the award-winning book, Smart Choices: Selecting and Administering a Safe 401(k) Plan. Matt has spent his entire career in the employee benefits area concentrating on ERISA retirement plans. Prior to founding Blue Prairie Group, he headed up three separate institutional retirement consulting practices in Florida and the Midwest and before that, sold retirement plans for a large 401(k) provider. He writes and speaks regularly on retirement plan issues. He is currently working on his second book, 401(k) Inc.: Building a Successful Retirement Plan Practice due out later this year. Matt holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin Madison and the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
