Mark Olsen has over 15 years of institutional retirement consulting experience and is a consultant in the firm’s Institutional Retirement and Investment Consulting practices.  He has worked with a number of clients on such diverse projects as vendor searches, development of effective investment arrays, evaluation of investment advice providers, merger and acquisition retirement plan issues, and selection of investment managers.

Prior to joining Blue Prairie Group, Mark was a consultant with DC Advisors, a regional defined contribution consulting firm.  He was responsible for investment consulting, client management, and special projects.  Earlier in his career, Mark was a consultant with William M. Mercer Investment Consulting and was a member of Mercer’s National Defined Contribution Vendor Task Force.

As a recognized leader in the retirement consulting industry, Mark has been a speaker and moderator for a number of industry conferences and associations including the Stable Value Investment Association, Midwest Pension Conference, and Minneapolis Pension Council.  Mark has a Bachelors degree in Finance from DePaul University.
