You may have seen the headlines in the news regarding the new Pension Protection Act of 2006 which was signed into law by President Bush on August 17. This legislation brings significant pension reform, particularly with respect to auto-enrollment and the ability to furnish plan participants with investment selection advice for their 401(k)s.
