Chicago, IL ‐ November 18, 2010 ‐ Blue Prairie Group (“BPG”), a Chicago‐based investment consulting firm serving the institutional retirement, institutional investment, and wealth management market places, is pleased to announce the addition of Peter Marchese, CFA, as Director, Investment Analytics. He will be responsible for the process of manager due diligence, client reporting and management of the investment analyst staff. In addition, he will work closely with the firm’s Chief Investment Officer, Gary Silverman, CFA, in managing discretionary portfolios for foundations, endowments and custom target date funds for large defined contribution clients.
Peter has over 20 years of asset management and investment consulting experience within the financial industry. He most recently was a partner at D3 Financial Counselors, a fee‐only investment advisory firm. Prior to this, he worked for 17 years at Northern Trust, most recently as Division Director running billion dollar short duration fixed income portfolios for large institutional clients.
